A Shadow Hand is a form of the Lesser Dead, summoned from Death by a necromancer to act as a servant.
In contrast to Dead Hands, Shadow Hands have no physical body (and are slightly more intelligent). True to their name, they are shadowy, non-corporeal spirit forms that can move with great speed across long distances. They require much more skill and power to keep in Life than Hands, but can be created from just the head of a corpse, rather than the entire body.
No weapons besides necromantic bells or panpipes work against Shadow Hands, not even Charter-spelled swords or Charter Magic itself. However, like Dead Hands, Shadow Hands disintegrate in direct sunlight and cannot cross running water.
