A Dead Hand is a corpse that has been reanimated by a necromancer. Hands are used as vessels to host the spirit of a bound servant from Death.

Hands are capable of gradually altering their bodies to suit their needs, such as growing longer and sharper teeth. They can be stronger than a living human, but are usually of low intelligence. Hands are mostly used to perform manual labour as slaves, such as the Southerlings killed by Hedge, or to attack in large groups.
